Yesterday, I had full intentions on writing. Not only to write but to publish because I haven’t hit publish in a while. Mostly because I have been too busy but partially because everything I have had to say is pretty much already been said. Read prior posts to catch up. However, if you choose to opt out of reading anything I have published thus far here it is summed up in one tiny sentence: BLACK LIVES MATTER, THIS PANDEMIC IS REAL AND YOU CONSPIRACY THEORISTS ARE DRIVING ME BANANAS...and oh yeah...the danish actor Alex Høgh Andersen and the Icelandic musician Ásgeir have been the driving force behind this here blog and my Instagram Photography Page....not to mention, my free therapy. Read more to find out why.  FREE PLUG! FREE PLUG! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 *if you have IG...come and find me. I’m HOPE AND WANDER PHOTOGRAPHY. FREE PLUG! “Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can About the only thThey push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.” 🖤 Rob Siltanen I’ve noticed a couple of things in the past few weeks, few months even...eye-opening things. Some things have been disappointing and downright heartbreaking while others have been inspiring and have reminded me that there still is love in this world. Some things have had me screaming and cussing out the human population while others have had me crying in camaraderie. Some things have caused me to act while others have caused me to react but most all of these ‘somethings’ have forced me to reflect.    To say that this year has kept eac...

I was told earlier by someone, “I’m proud to be a white American woman...I won’t apologize for it.”  Cool. No one is saying you have to apologize for that or that you can’t be a PROUD, WHITE AMERICAN but let me be clear....I want to be a PROUD ETHNIC HUMAN BEING as well.  •I’m Greek, German, French, and Irish. •When I was younger I was a model and I was told I needed a nose job by my agent because this Greek feature was far “too ethnic.” •My hair has been criticized for being too kinky and fro(ish). “Do you have black in you, ‘cuz your hair...”  Maybe, I’m Greek? Now stop fucking touching it.  •I was born in Germany. •I’ve had to prove citizenship every time I’ve entered MY AMERICAN country. Speaking full English which, by the way, is the only actual language I AM FLUENT IN! Not the only one I can speak and understand but it’s definitely the only one I am fluent in. “Speak American...this is AMERICA!”  •My nephews are Mexican and one of the...

I feel like everything is coming at me full force and I can’t control a goddamn thing! Today, I had a long, hard cry. Sometimes this release is necessary and most days, I’m upbeat and positive...the lighthouse you find in a storm, or so I’ve been told. I view the world as a loving place. I smile, I’m kind, I’m empathetic...I try to be different because the world is filled with the same kind.  But sometimes all that strength breaks the proverbial camel’s back. So today I had a long, hard cry. Nothing in my life is worth crying over...everything is swell...I’m working towards goals, I’m living a dream life, I’m coming out of my shadow...I’m living nothing but happy fucking days!  But today...I had a long, hard cry....because the outside world is breaking my heart.  I finally built up enough courage to see a video being spread all over the internet and I went from rage to sadness to helplessness to worry and everything in between. This is America....I sometim...
